November 19, at am Wilson Chan Participant Fingers crossed. I am more stuck on the Implementation, where all the Base Rate and stuffs, the text is easy but the question is hard. I have been reviewed like crazy…. Am I correct to recall CAS passed less people from the last exam 5 sitting than usual? November 22, at am TryhardActuary Participant Yeah I was going to ask what is allowed to be said about the exam. Could I used shift, ctrl buttons to move around the cell, etc. Also, how much work needs to be explicitly shown given graders can see the formulas. It was better than I thought it would be. I feel that the questions were sometimes asked in a way that was arguably too different from the way that the concepts are presented in Werner and Modlin. Each territory had two sub categories. This is not the only example of this problem. Now the CAS has announced that it will no longer be publishing exams that are given. The problem is that if the exams are going to be asking questions in a very different way from how the topics are presented in Werner and Modlin, then they should be publishing the exams so that either study material creators can modify their materials or students can at least have more practice material that will actually be applicable to the material that will be in the exam. Either that or I feel that the exams should more closely represent the source material.

An Outline of NYU's Early Decision Philosophy and Process NYU's Early Decision programs are binding agreements, whereby if an applicant is offered admission and provided with a financial aid package that enables the student to enroll, the student must withdraw any previously submitted applications and accept NYU's admission offer—roughly within two to three weeks of receiving an admission offer. These students are then restricted from filing any new applications and are expected to withdraw any active applications to other schools. Again, admitted students will have roughly two to three weeks to review their financial aid package before confirming their enrollment at NYU.

We believe that part of our commitment to Early Decision applicants is indeed to provide an early decision; for that reason, we typically either admit or deny Early Decision candidates and do not waitlist them. The Early Decision both I and II agreements are binding with the following exceptions: If students are admitted to a program different than the primary program of interest listed on their Common Application; if the received financial aid package is insufficient to meet the estimated cost of attendance; if a student is admitted to an NYU degree-granting campus that was not listed as their first choice on the Common Application. Early Decision and Financial Aid NYU uses the same methodology in providing financial aid for Early Decision candidates as we do in providing financial aid for Regular Decision candidates. Students are not offered more or less financial aid based on when they apply for admission. For Early Decision II candidates, we use this information to provide admitted students with an estimated financial aid package after February 15th.
